I was very pleased with your notes and question bank. I especially like the mock exams because it helped to pull everything together.

Please provide more details about your ranking system.
We've heard many stories like this: "I scored 80% correctly in my last mock exam from one test prep provider, but I still failed the real test." Why? Does it matter how well you do on a mock exam? Not necessarily! The score of 80% would be meaningless without the ability to compare your score with those of other candidates!

Remember that you are competing against other people. If everybody is better than you, you are not going to pass, no matter how good you are or how hard you study. In June 2010 only 42% of participants passed the CFA Level 1 exam. In other words, you would have to be better than 58% of all candidates to pass it.

AnalystNotes offers online, real-time candidate ranking to all users. This means that you can compare your test results with those of others around the globe by study session. AnalystNotes uses a robust, industry standard statistical package (SPSS) in the backend process to rank your exam data against other members' real scores. After you finish a review exam session, you may get your ranking number for that specific set of questions. In your account center you can also check your latest ranking data for each study session.

  • You need to answer at least 30 questions for a study session to be ranked.
  • Your ranking for a study session is based on the last 50 questions you have taken for the subject.
  • Your ranking data changes continuously for two reasons. First, every day many users take review exams and thus update the database dynamically. Second, your ranking is based on the last 50 questions for the study session.
